Alie Ward
Alison Ann Ward is a writer, a painter, American TV actress and co-host of the 2013 Cooking Channel travel-food television series, ''Tripping Out with Alie & Georgia''. She is also a correspondent for the CBS series ''Innovation Nation''. Ward has written for L.A. Weekly〔(Alie Ward at L.A. Weekly )〕 and the L.A. Times.〔(Alie Ward at L.A. Times )〕 She has appeared in a handful of TV shows, including ''Nash Bridges''. She achieved notoriety from her ''Alie and Georgia'' online videos and television appearances, where she and her close friend, Georgia Hardstark, offer up their recipes for some rather odd culinary concoctions, such as the infamous McNuggetini. ==Early life== Alie was born as Alison Ann Ward in San Francisco, California to Nancy, an accountant, and Lawrence, a journalist and news broadcaster. She has two older sisters, Celeste and Janelle. When she was 18, she enrolled at University of California - Santa Barbara to study biology, with the intention of pursuing a career in biological illustration. Eventually, she changed her course of study and obtained a degree in cinema before moving to Los Angeles.
